In May 2009, TekSynap was awarded a subcontract by Federal Data Systems valued at approximately $700,000 to provide System Architecture and Engineering Services for the Defense Continuity Integrated Network (DCIN) Support Program. The DCIN Program provides a centralized continuity network consisting of multiple datacenters with storage and a large SAN environment, WAN infrastructure for Replication and Fail-over support, and Fail-over software configuration. The program supports the various Fail-over requirements of the Tenants by supporting multiple forms of data replication and multiple fail-over software products to support the various Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTO). The DCIN Architecture provides the Pentagon Tenants the broadest flexibility in designing the continuity requirements of each of their applications.
