
TekSynap was awarded a task for installation of a wireless network for the Department of Commerce (DOC) in the Herbert C. Hoover Building (HCHB), located in Washington, DC. Selected for its skills, in-depth knowledge, and experience, TekSynap’s controller-based wireless solution is designed for redundancy and scalability to allow for additional access points to be seamlessly deployed as demand for wireless coverage grows within the HCHB campus. The solution will integrate with current DOC network infrastructure and will provide authentication, authorization, profiling, guest services, and posture assessment compliant with HCHBNet wireless security policies. TekSynap’s wireless solution will encompass the two major networks within HCHB and serve multiple DOC bureaus as well as the International Trade Administration (ITA).
