The TekXlerate® Foundry – Boston showcases how advanced infrastructure fuels innovation. Purpose-built for speed, scale, and secure experimentation, it brings together the latest in networking, virtualization, and hybrid cloud technologies to model real-world mission environments.

At its core, Boston operates on a fully integrated EVPN-VXLAN fabric, delivering high-performance, multi-tenant network segmentation and automated workload mobility across edge and core. This foundation supports flexible virtualization and cloud deployments built on VMware vSphere and Cloud Foundation (VCF), HPE Virtual Machine Environment (VME), and Azure Local running on Dell PowerEdge servers—providing a true hybrid capability within the lab.

Juniper Mist AI powers intelligent network assurance across wired and wireless infrastructure, while HPE ProLiant Gen11 compute provides the performance needed for AI, DevSecOps, and automation workloads. Together, these platforms create a modular, production-grade environment that mirrors enterprise architecture while maintaining the agility required for proof-of-concept development.

Each engagement in the Boston Lab demonstrates interoperability and readiness—from hypervisor-to-cloud transitions to zero-trust network validation—helping agencies validate performance, strengthen architectures, and accelerate mission-ready deployment from concept to capability.

TekXlerate® Foundry – Washington (DC)

Enterprise-Grade Innovation, Purpose-Built for Scale

The TekXlerate® Foundry – Washington (DC) is our flagship hybrid facility—designed for full-scale enterprise network modelling, AI development, and mission-environment validation. The environment supports multiple virtualization platforms, including VMware vSphere and Cloud Foundation (VCF), and Nutanix clusters.

Within this lab we operate paired NVIDIA DGX systems as part of a broader AI/ML development pipeline, alongside Nutanix NAI-enabled clusters running on Dell PowerEdge servers. This blended infrastructure allows us to support both advanced model training and scalable GenAI workflows.

Reston equally supports wireless and campus network simulation—enabling our teams to build, test and refine wireless architectures (including Smart Hospital WiFi and Guest WiFi 2.0 solutions) under realistic multi-vendor conditions.

Together, these capabilities enable us to validate architecture, refine platform choices, and deliver cohesive, production-ready outcomes for government and enterprise clients.

TekXlerate® Foundry – Sierra Vista

High-Velocity Prototyping for Secure Connectivity

The TekXlerate® Foundry – Sierra Vista is purpose-designed as our specialist facility, optimized for advanced EVPN-VXLAN fabric development and hybrid cloud edge architectures. This lab delivers high-velocity experimentation on emerging networking paradigms, enabling TekSynap and its government partners to prototype with precision and scale.

Our approach at Sierra Vista centers on:

  • A fully realized EVPN-VXLAN overlay architecture, provided by Juniper, that decouples host connectivity from physical topology—enabling seamless mobility, multi-tenant segmentation, and high-scale workload placement across leaf/spine fabric.
  • A Clos-based underlay network design, supporting either three-stage or five-stage spine/leaf models, giving us the flexibility to scale and tailor fabric depth, latency and domain segmentation to mission requirements.
  • Capability to support both traditional enterprise workloads and next-gen mission applications—by layering the VXLAN overlay on top of our physical underlay, we enable flexible isolation of workloads, rapid hypervisor migrations, and dynamic segmentation.

The TekXlerate® Foundry – Sierra Vista lab thus becomes a core asset for validating networking and cloud edge solutions—where architecture meets execution, and where connectivity innovation aligns with mission outcomes.

Hybrid Cloud IaC & DevSecOps Lab

Empowering Agile Mission Solutions

Our DevSecOps Lab delivers a unified infrastructure-as-code framework across on-premises and multi-cloud environments. We leverage version-controlled templates and CI/CD pipelines to deploy into Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, or on-prem setups—all from a single source.

Infrastructure components (networking, identity, compute, storage, monitoring) are defined as code, reviewed in Git repositories, and validated automatically with security and compliance checks.

All lab-environments are connected enabling demo, pilot, and production architectures to move seamlessly from proof-of-concept to mission execution.

This agile DevSecOps pipeline supports rapid prototype development, scalable deployments, and operational readiness—all built with federal security practices in mind.
