Thomas Murphy serves as a Senior Vice President at TekSynap, where he has built his career on successfully navigating the intersection of technical innovation and mission-critical government operations. With more than 15 years of hands-on experience spanning infrastructure modernization, capture management, and solutions architecture, Mr. Murphy has become a trusted advisor to both defense and civilian agencies looking to strengthen their technology foundations.

Under his leadership, TekSynap has transformed its market presence and secured several high-value government contracts, including the VA’s LAN IRP program valued at approximately $160 million. He has expanded TekSynap’s footprint across key federal agencies, such as USPS, USMC TECOM, NETCOM, Army National Guard, DLA NISS, ATF, USPTO, NIH, HUD, the U.S. Forest Service, and the Department of State, through an innovative approach that extends beyond traditional IT services. He has guided TekSynap’s evolution into managed services, leveraging the company’s VAR, MSP, and SI capabilities to further position TekSynap as a leading technology partner.

Mr. Murphy’s oversight of the $6 billion DLA JETS IDIQ contract underscores his exceptional program leadership and strategic direction, culminating in the expansion of TekSynap’s DLA portfolio to more than 400 employees. This tremendous growth showcases TekSynap’s ability to scale operations while maintaining exceptional service delivery across a broad technical spectrum, from Enterprise Service Desk operations and LAN/WAN infrastructure to AV/VTC systems, database management, storage solutions, and infrastructure virtualization.
