Marla Helveston leads TekSynap’s operations with a focus on disciplined execution, mission-driven results, and sustainable growth. With over 30 years in government contracting, she brings deep expertise in business operations, program delivery, and federal capture, guiding teams through complex challenges with clarity and purpose.

As Chief Operating Officer, Marla drives enterprise performance and ensures alignment across TekSynap’s delivery and expansion objectives. She partners with customers, employees, and stakeholders to build agile, accountable operations that reflect TekSynap’s mission-first values. Her leadership combines operational rigor with a strong understanding of the financial and contractual drivers of success.

Before joining TekSynap, Marla spent more than two decades at General Dynamics IT, serving as Vice President of the Commerce and Interior operating group. There, she drove double-digit growth across federal accounts, leading delivery for agencies including the U.S. Navy, Department of the Interior, and Department of Commerce.

Marla began her career as a GS civilian supporting the U.S. Air Force at Keesler Air Force Base, where she earned Master Instructor status teaching computer concepts, problem solving, and logic design. She champions a “one team, one mission” mindset that defines TekSynap’s culture and holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Mississippi State University.
