TekSynap’s Commitment to Veterans: Co-Sponsorship of the NDVWSC

Each year, TekSynap proudly co-sponsors the National Disabled Veterans Winter Sports Clinic, an extraordinary event that transforms lives through adaptive sports and rehabilitation. Known as “Miracles on a Mountainside,” the clinic is hosted in Snowmass, Colorado, and serves as a world leader in adaptive winter sports instruction for disabled U.S. military veterans. The program provides opportunities for self-development and healing through activities such as adaptive Alpine and Nordic skiing, sled hockey, rock climbing, scuba diving, and more.

Our sponsorship reflects TekSynap’s unwavering commitment to giving back to those who have served our nation. By partnering with Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, we help create a supportive environment where veterans with spinal cord injuries, amputations, visual impairments, and other severe disabilities can challenge perceived limitations and rediscover independence.

Impact and Engagement

  • Empowerment Through Sports: The clinic promotes physical and emotional rehabilitation, fostering resilience and confidence among participants.
  • Community and Camaraderie: TekSynap team members volunteer onsite, engaging directly with veterans and contributing to a week filled with inspiration and joy.
  • Co-Branding and Visibility: Our sponsorship includes branded gear such as fleece hats, neck gaiters, and other items, reinforcing our shared mission of empowerment and inclusion.
